The Ibanez RG565 LB Prestige Genesis Electric Guitar, finished in Laser Blue, is part of the Genesis range, a tribute to the original generation of RGs. Combining Japanese master craftsmanship with precise modern manufacturing, Genesis RGs feature the same vintage designs and heavy-hitting performance that helped the RG shift the paradigm for shred machines. The vintage influence of the Genesis range is clear in the eye-catching design of the RG565; a striking Laser Blue finish is complemented by a matching-finish reverse headstock and fretboard inlays, contrasting against a Maple fretboard and all-black hardware.

A basswood body provides a flat, natural tonal profile, allowing a pair of Ibanez Infinity R/V8 humbuckers to perfectly blend the vintage and modern influences of this instrument, delivering tight, clear and accurate tones, with extremely expressive dynamics - these pickups do not falter, maintaining their clarity even under the heaviest of settings. An RG wouldn't be an RG without extra-smooth shredability, and the RG565 doesn't disappoint, thanks to a 5 piece Maple/Walnut Super Wizard neck, and a Maple fretboard with 24 Jumbo frets. The addition of Gotoh tuners and an Edge tremolo make for extremely precise, smooth, stable, and consistent tuning, intonation, and playing comfort, and provides for all of your tremolo needs.
